2K Sports Details “NBA 2K13″ Improvements

With the NBA season soon approaching and many hoop fans not completely satisfied by the Olympic “Dream Team,” 2K Sports has come to the rescue with a new video showing off the latest developments in the acclaim NBA 2K series.

The collective has released a new video from NBA 2K13, the next installment of their NBA video game simulation franchise which is lauded by many to be the game that dethroned NBA Live. In addition to the changes made highlighted in the video, there are a few things that those who got hands-on time with the hoops classic mentioned that you gamers must know and be excited about.

No. 1) Manual bounce passing. In year’s past, it has been easy to abuse the passing lanes and steal the ball, and in 2K13 you will have the ability to bounce pass the ball into the post, which should surely help out those who love using their big men in the paint.

No. 2) Kinect integration. You won’t be using it to put yourself into the game as your favorite baller, yet you can use it to call out plays, call for picks, intentional fouls and the like. Finally, gamers will not have to use the D-pad to scroll through on-the-fly menus wile having your opponent steady trying to pick your pocket as you multitask.

Don’t worry hoops fans, you’ll soon be able to get your own hands-on experience with NBA 2K13, as the simulation franchise is set for release on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in North America, for PC, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360 and Wii. A Wii-U version of the game will be launched at a later date.
