Three lucky individuals were named Powerball winners in Louisiana, Delaware and Florida. Each will reportedly get a third of the jackpot, estimated at $50 million over 20 years, or a $31.1 million lump sum.
Regardless, they are cashing out, especially in the sunshine state, which drew its second winner this week. A week ago, a ticket was plucked in Zephyrhills, Fla., for the $590 million lottery, raking in an estimated $376.9 million cash.
Lottery officials in Louisiana and Florida said Saturday's winning tickets were bought in New Orleans and Tampa while Delaware's origin of location has not yet been named.
This wouldn't be the first time a pool of winners shared their prize. Louisiana Lottery spokeswoman Kimberly Chopin said a $295 million jackpot was split four ways in 2001.
Those looking to bank a sweet payday can look to Wednesday's $40 million jackpot.
