5 Things To Do At New Orleans Jazz Fest
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, or Jazz Fest for short, is a music institution. The fest launched in 1970 and offers one of the most eclectic lineups of any festival out there, with rappers, rockers, zydeco, and big easy brass bands taking the stage each year. 2014 headliners include Bruce Springsteen, Arcade Fire, Christina Aguilera, Trey Songz, Solange, Trombone Shorty, Public Enemy and more. But while the fest — held across back-to-back weekends at the tail end of April and beginning of May — is first known for its music, VIBE takes a look at the other things Jazz Fest has to offer over its two weekends.
