50 Cent Expands G-Unit With Kidd Kidd Signing & Shawty Lo Partnership

First Shawty Lo, now Kidd Kidd... looks like 50 Cent is not allowing any personal bumps to hold him back as he continues to expand his G-Unit’s line up of artists. After recently inking a parternship with Shawty Lo, 50 broke the news of New Orleans newcomer Kidd Kid joining the team while on the set of Tony Yayo’s upcoming video for “Haters.”

Prior to his signing with G-Unit, Kidd Kidd collaborated with 50 on his single, “Better Walk” and also held down a guest spot on Lil Wayne's "Mrs. Officer."

Kidd Kidd explains how supportive 50 has been in his musical career—most recently attending his album release party: “50 came at me direct and I respect that,” he told SOHH. “It's a respect thing, you feel me? There's not too many real out there that do what they do. He told me when he comes down to New Orleans, he's gonna come and get at me. And that's what happened.
