50 Cent doesn’t want any problems with Floyd Mayweather. After rubbing away his morning eye crust (Aug. 20), Fif addressed headlines circulating that Floydy wasn’t happy with several rappers, particularly T.I., Nelly and 50 Cent. The storyline in question was Mayweather’s recent interview with MLive, where the boxing champ took jabs at rappers, without naming any names. “I don’t really focus on nothing like that,” Mayweather said. “I’m relevant. Mr. My Life is the Shit. I’m something to talk about.” He continued, “When people are not relevant, and they’re not moving units like they was once moving. I’ve been relevant for 18 years. I don’t have anything negative to say about any hip-hop artist, but a lot of these rap artist rap about certain things but I really live it … Hip-hop artists come and go, but I’m still here.” Money Mayweather recently beefed with the rap stars over women, including rumors of an affair with Tip’s wife, Tiny, to Nelly’s current bae, Shantel Jackson, who split from Mayweather earlier this year. Watch 50 plead his innocence below.
