People scratched their heads a bit when a kid was spotted wearing a MMG chain in 50 Cent's new music video for "Major Distribution." The track, which features a dope Shady-esque beat and features from Snoop Dogg & Young Jeezy, is the latest single off 50's upcoming LP, Street King Immortal.
Known for his affiliation with G-Unit and Aftermath, 50 was asked by MTV recently about his choice of using "rival rapper's jewelry" in his own video. The chain sparked rumors that it had been swiped from the MMG crew.
“It came from a jeweler," 50 said. "Jewelers, they made it. Yeah, we got it and ended up putting it in the video. That’s what rappers do: Rappers put jewelry in videos.” Watch 50 clear the air below.
