No stranger to gun violence, 50 Cent returned to his native Queens, New York to pay his respects for 14-year-old D’aja Robinson.
Robinson was struck by a bullet as she rode the, according to AllHipHop.com.
Her tragic death has garnered the attention of many, including Fif who paid for her funeral procession. About 2,500 people attended, including several rappers like Lil Cease and Juelz Santana, as Robinson's body was carried in the procession in a horse-drawn carriage (pictured above) on Friday.
50 shared a collage of D’aja on his Facebook page as well as his thoughts on her death and the way he is viewed in the public eye. “People always try and paint negative images about me I'm the most genuine down to earth person and I didn't forget where I came from I came through for baby girl by providing a horse and carriage for her,” he wrote. “She was pretty, innocent and didnt deserve to die like that R.I.P D'Asia Robinson.”
While a 16-year-old was questioned in the case then released, there is reportedly no one in custody.
