50 Cent Semi-Admits To WSHH Prank: 'Why Would I Do That... Because I Can?'

Posted January 24, 2011

And the e-fuckery continues. Earlier this evening 50 Cent went on the air with Hot 97's Angie Martinez to discuss his supposed hand in putting worldstarhiphop.com to bed. But instead of firmly stating his involvement, the capitalizing rapper spoke ambiguously on the subject making it appear as if it were all for his personal, public and profitable amusement.

"When I'm on Twitter I'm just entertaining people. I might know someone who could do it, but I didn't do that. Why would I do thing like that... Because I can?"

The MC continued, "Maybe I did [shut it down]. It's for the public to decide. It's extremely entertaining to watch this fall apart."

50 did confirm that in two weeks he'll be finding out just how much he's owed from WSHH in regards to unauthorized advertising of himself in 2008 and 2009. He also explained that his beef with the website stems further than that as feels WSHH "encourages disrespect on every level possible."

However the founder of WSHH, Lee "Q" O'Denat says "don't shoot the messenger" and told Angie that the site was down due to server issues and would be up "shortly."
