If the annual SXSW Music Festival is known for anything, it’s new up-and-coming artists getting a chance to shine, when one of these acts isn’t performing. VIBE has laid out the top artists that you should watch for at this year’s festival.

TDE newcomer and Chattanooga, Tennessee-raised Isaiah Rashad, who released his new EP Cilvia Demo in January, will be opening up for his TDE team Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q at the iTunes Music Festival at SXSW. Bas, an artist signed under J.Cole’s Dreamville Records will also be in attendance at this year’s SXSW, right along with Chicago-bred Lil Bibby and Lil Herb. Both Herb and Bibby have created quite a name for themselves with their recent release of mixtapes, and will be joined in SXSW by pimp-like MC 100s.

LA-based artist Kelela will be making her mark at this year’s SXSW along with Danish singer and songwriter Mø, and Bricksquad artist Young Thug, whose single “I’m a Stoner” is a go-to club banger.

SXSW will be invaded with new music galore. To keep track of all the excitement that’s happening at SXSW, stay tuned to VIBE for the latest updates.
