8 Things We Learned From Kanye’s ‘All Of The Lights’ Video

Kanye West might need to take “her” to that ghetto university, but he took viewers to school with his latest (and feature-heavy) visual “All Of The Lights.” After watching the 5-minute vid only equipped with bright lights, a young girl, Rihanna’s red hair and Kid Cudi’s MJ-inspired jacket, there’s a lot to be said about the lyrical powerhouse and his fellow Roc and G.O.O.D. Music signees. Here’s what we learned:

1. Kanye has an strong obsession with neon colors. (See also: “Stronger” video)

2. Mr. West doesn’t really dance, he just thrusts his body back and forth while he flails his arms wildly. (On that note: Has he been working out?)

3. Despite horrible red hairstyles, Rihanna is still gorgeous! The flash of side boob is everything!

4. “Ghetto University” undeniably means domestic violence?

5. Kid Cudi has a problem facing the camera

6. Reading is fundamental and neon flashes of the lyrics across the screen will NOT cause epilepsy.

7. The apartment complex where the little girl is walking was once home to VIBE Editors JFK and Chloe–Rochdale Village. It’s also the place where Hype shot parts of the movie Belly.

8. A million people contributed vocals to this song including Fergie, Charlie Wilson, The-Dream, Elton John, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Tony Williams, La Roux, Ryan Leslie, Alvin Fields and Ken Lewis, yet a million cameos weren’t necessary.

Ah yes, and how can we forget. We learned that if we want it we can get it for the rest of our lives!
