Laurence Fishburne Files Restraining Order Against Stalker

Laurence Fishburne is the latest Hollywood celeb to deal with a crazed stalker.

According to the AP, Fishburne has been granted a temporary restraining order against an ex-convict who claims to own the actor’s home. On New Year's Day, Anthony Francis, tried to evict the star from his home while present with his wife. They called the police and learned the man had been arrested for cyberstalking in the past. He also spent time in a mental hospital prior to this case.

“This is a case of stalking, and the judge had no problem in issuing a temporary restraining order to stop it,” Fishburne’s attorney Donald Etra said.

Francis must stay 100 yards from the Oscar-nominated actor and his wife and daughter for the next three years. Any violations will land him back in prison.

Records show that Fishburne and his wife lived at their home for the last 10 years.
