Kat Von D and Deadmau5 Get Engaged on Twitter

LA Ink Star Kat Von D and her boy friend producer/DJ Deadmau5 let the world know about the next step in their relationship this past weekend.

On Saturday Deadmau5, 31, tweeted, “I can’t wait for Christmas so… Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” Also, posted was a photo of a diamond ring with the message, “Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI,” he said. Sorry for the jpg… they’ll finish the actual ring soon I hope. I love u.”

And to our surprise it was serious question. The couple confirmed their engagement soon after on Twitter. “Holy f*cking sh*t. I’m engaged and stuff! Thanks for the well wishes and support from the horde and everyone else! Brb while I spend the rest of my evening with my future wife," Deadmau5 tweeted.

Prior to the news, the couple had been dating since September and were up and down at times. They've shared public breakups and fights on Twitter as well.

But to make the commitment real, Kat also confirmed things on her side."Mi Corazon! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the h*ll out of my fiancé!, she wrote.
