You already know this won't end well.
Charles Barkley, the NBA legend who isn't afraid to run his motor mouth about the league's current talent, recently took some shots at Dwyane Wade's game. He stated that the Miami star seemed to be “losing his athletic ability" after only scoring 13 points in a loss to the Knicks.
"The toughest thing when you’re a great player or very athletic, when you can’t jump over a building anymore, you have to learn how to play … He’s starting to lose his athletic ability. He’s not the same guy. I got a look at him in person. He doesn’t explode anymore, and he’s shooting a lot of fadeaway jumpers."
However, after Wade put up 26 points in the Heat's recent win against the Atlanta Hawks, King James did some talking of his own.
”It means Charles Barkley needs to shut up,” James said. ”I mean, the man’s shooting 80 percent from the floor in the last couple games. Come on, man. That’s like crazy, right? That’s why he is who he is. Unbelievable.”
The mild mannered Dwyane Wade avoided answering back to Charles during a court-side interview.
What do you think Sir Charles will say next?
