Amar'e Stoudemire took advantage of the rare 12/12/12 date in the biggest way possible by getting married.
The New York Knicks power forward and his new bride, longtime girlfriend Alexis Welch, wed on the rooftop deck of their Manhattan home. According to People, the ceremony was accompanied by a modest 12 guests. The big day comes just six months after his Paris summer engagement to Welch.
Stoudemire posted a photo of the couple's wedding rings on Twitter (seen above), saying, "12.12.12 now has a special & spiritual meaning for us."
People also reports that the bride wore a custom dress and our boy was in a tuxedo by Calvin Klein. They both have rings by Shayan Afshar, and her wedding band is by Harry Glinberg.
Following the ceremony, they visited the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden before heading to STK for a reception.
The newlyweds plan to celebrate their love again this summer at a bigger wedding with friends, teammates and family.
