A$AP Rocky returned to the Coachella festival this weekend and left his mark on the stage with a memorable performance from a legendary guest.
After performing his new single “Goldie,” the Harlem newcomer brought out Master P and the No Limit family (including a shirtless, grown-up Romeo), to perform “Make ‘Em Say Uh.” As A$AP spit acappella, “And I’m so ’bout it ’bout it I might roll up in a tank,” a crowd of No Limit representers rushed the stage with a high-energy performance of the 1997 hit.
Master P’s appearance quickly switched gears to a serious note as ge led performance of “I Miss My Homies” with a mention of Trayvon Martin, the song was also dedicated to fallen entertainers such as Whitney Houston, Tupac and Nate Dogg. Footage of the Million Hoodie March for Martin was projected behind A$AP and P throughout the performance as well. --Iyana Robertson
