Amanda Knox will break her silence for the first time to speak on her alleged involvement in a murder case overseas. Prior to the release of her tell-all book Waiting to Be Heard, Knox will sit down with ABC News' Diane Sawyer.
In 2007, Knox and then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito found themselves entangled in an unfortunate murder case. Knox was part of a student exchange program in Peruggia, Italy when her British roommate Meredith Kercher was found stabbed to death in her apartment. Sollecito and Knox were convicted in December 2009 and spent four years in jail before winning their appeal in October 2011.
The book shall include new details about her journey from American exchange student to woman facing a lengthy prison sentence abroad.
Her interview will air on ABC News on Tuesday, April 30 at 10:00 p.m.
