Actor Don Johnson Gets $19 Million in 'Nash Bridges' Lawsuit

Actor Don Johnson Gets $19 Million in 'Nash Bridges' Lawsuit

VIBE Posted February 12, 2013

Flip the hour glass to 1996 and call to mind the CBS police drama "Nash Bridges" starring Don Johnson and Cheech Marin who played two investigators at the San Francisco Police Department, taking names and kicking a**.

Johnson never profited from the six-season show and was reportedly owed $23 million in 2010 from Rysher Productions, the company that produced the series. Another $28.5 million on top of that was owed to him in interests, according to MSNBC.

But Rysher appealed, alleging jury misconduct after they initially decided to award the "Nash Bridges" actor $15 million. When the verdict was delivered in July 2010, they eventually calculated that he was entitled to more.

Come January of this year and Johnson became $19 million dollars richer, after signing a settlement that the payment would be the end-all-be-all to the dispute.
