If you aren't drooling at the prospect of more mutants being added to the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, then you sincerely need to check your pulse.
Actor Evan Jonigkeit (Calendar Girl) revealed to MTV that he will be playing a younger version of Toad in the mutant-powered sequel.
"I read a lot of the comic books," he said when asked how he got ready for the role. "I found out the storyline of my character, who is Toad. X-Men fans will know that Ray Park played him in the first movie, so it's a generation story of how he came to be. It's really cool."
No word yet on how the character will look for the film, although Jonigkeit does say that he will appear different than how the character appeared in the first film, saying, "The aesthetics of the character are much different, and I'm not really allowed to say a whole lot more than that."
X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Adan Canto, and a host of other talented stars.
The film will travel into theaters on May 23, 2014.
