Air Yeezy 2 Gets Official US Release Date

June 9th will officially be a new holiday for sneakerheads all over.

It's just been confirmed that Kanye West's Air Yeezy II's will officially drop in the U.S. on Saturday, June 9th 2012, with limited supply per retailer. The two colorways that will be released are the "Platinum" (seen above) and the "Black/Pink."

Since Nike banned midnight releases back in April, we're curious to know how intense the lines will be, who will officially have them in stock, and most importantly, how safe will it be to co cop a pair. Could we be witnessing the biggest sneaker release of all time *Kanye voice*?
