Akon Announces Release Date For Upcoming Album 'Stadium'

Internationally recognized crooner, Akon, has finally set an official release date for his fourth solo album, Stadium. The LP which draws heavy influences from the gathering of the last World Cup event and the energy from the massive collective of people is set to hit stores on Sept 13th.

"I’m bringing the whole energy of people gathering worldwide in one location," says Akon. Since 2009, SRC's hitmaker faced numerous album delays and setbacks. However, sources told VIBE Stadium's release date is set in stone.

Akon worked closely with French producer David Guetta this time around. Guest features will include Pitbull, Rick Ross and more.
