Alicia Keys Becomes BlackBerry’s Global Creative Director

VIBE Vixen Posted January 30, 2013

Alicia Keys is stepping into the forefront of the Blackberry brand as its Global Creative Director. The “Girl On Fire” singer attended RIM’s Blackberry 10 launch event for the announcement.

Keys, who is gearing up for the “Set The World On Fire” tour, seems amped to take on the new role that will require her to enhance the new phone through music, books, films and apps by working closely with developers, retailers and the entertainment industry.

“I have been using the BlackBerry 10 for a few weeks now, and I’m truly inspired by its innovation,” she said. “It has entirely revolutionized the experience. I know the potential this platform has to help creative people be more productive, and help productive people be more creative."
