Alicia Keys, La La, Kim K & Friends Get Back To Tweeting, KCA Raises 1 Milli

Posted December 6, 2010

Who said Twitter brings out the devil in people?

Following last week’s launch of Keep A Child Alive’s “Digital Death” campaign, more than $1 million has been raised to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa and India, allowing stars such as Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, La La Vazquez, Justin Timberlake and Kim Kardashian the pleasure of socializing on Twitter and Facebook again.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of the fans, friends, and artists who joined this cause,” stated Keys, who co-founded KCA. “I’m incredibly inspired by all of the donations that have been made to help us achieve our goal and so humbled by the outpour of support from everyone.”

Though our favorite celebrity ramblers have reentered the digital world, KCA still encourages the public to donate and continue raising money for those afflicted with The public is still encouraged to donate and sacrifice their own digital lives in hopes of raising money for those plagued with the virus.
