The controversy surrounding American Idol contestant Jermaine Jones has reached its peak.
The 6'8 "gentle giant" will be kicked off during tonight's show. In addition to his made up sob stories that we reported on last night (March 13), TMZ reports that the 25-year-old hid his criminal record after being arrested twice last year and having outstanding warrants.
Jones was confronted on camera and one of the incidents allegedly involved violence, which troubled producers. The altercation and lies surrounding Jones ultimately led producers to avoid the messy situation at hand and give him the boot.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the baritone singer sent out a tweet last night stating, "Aww I will no longer b on the show." Shortly after his Twitter account was deleted.
Smh, if only people knew how to tell the truth from the beginning. Lesson learned for Jermaine.
