Amy Winehouse had a well documented meltdown Saturday, and it looks like the 'Rehab' singer might be headed back in that direction. Winehouse was scheduled to perform at a music festival in Belgrade, Serbia, but when the songstress took the stage she had trouble getting through the basics, i.e. standing and singing. Winehouse stumbled around the stage and appeared to be barely there before she found the microphone and attempted to run through 'Just Friends.'
After waiting for more than an hour, the crowd seemed to be amused by Winehouse's antics, but eventually the audience grew tired and booed the singer off stage.
Winehouse's camp canceled her upcoming appearances following the festival mishap and issued somewhat of an apology via a statement. “Amy Winehouse has canceled appearances in Istanbul and Athens for the coming week,” a rep tells Entertainment Weekly. “Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home. She would like to apologize to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do.” Indeed.
