Apple To Possibly Announce iPhone 5, iPad Mini in September

Apple has always been one to keep the tech world on its toes, but with new product rumors running rampant, we may actually be closer to seeing its latest gadgets in reality.

According to a report from iMore, the iPhone 5, iPad Mini and possibly two other devices may be announced at Apple's Sept. 12 event.

The sixth-generation iPhone is rumored to have a longer four-inch screen, a new backplate and a smaller dock connector while the iPad mini will come in a seven-inch version of the original. The former may be released Sept. 21.

The report adds that the Nano and iTouch may be getting makeovers as well.
