There may be an heir to the throne.
According to ABC News, Kate Middleton, the fashion-forward wife of Prince William, is sparking rumors that she is pregnant after opting for water over wine at an official state dinner with Singapore’s president and prime minister. When both raised a toast, Middleton, done up in a gown by Singapore-born designer Prabal Garang, politely declined twice.
This isn't the first time the Royal couple has been the target of baby rumors. Since their extravagant wedding last April, the two were reported to be prepping a nursery. Kate was also thought to be preggers after declining to sample a bite of peanut paste during a United Nations aid depot in Copenhagen.
While there has been no royal proclamation, Prince William has publicly expressed his eagerness to have a family.
“I’m just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I, you know, are looking forward to having a family in the future,” the Duke of Cambridge told ABC News' Katie Couric in May.
Singapore won't be the first stop for the jetsetting couple as they plan to visit four other countries and mingle with the locals through sporting activities. Kate is also said to be having her first speech in a foreign country when she speaks to the staff and patients of a Malaysian hospice.
