Sorry, Arrested Development fans, get ready to have that depressed feeling yet again!
Way back in fall of 2011, Netflix shocked and added enthusiasm to its service over the announcement to revive the beloved comedy for a fourth season. It was set to begin streaming this year, but they have yet to begin running on the service.
When they do though, you'll want to begin promoting those Arrested Development watch parties as they'll likely be the last.
At a conference yesterday (2/25), Netflix CEO Reed Hastings revealed that the comedy show everyone loves won't return to the service for another season after this one. Series creator Mitch Hurwitz previously hinted that it could be possible to run additional seasons on Netflix, but Hastings counters, describing the upcoming fourth season as a "one-off" that came about under "non-repeatable" circumstances.
What do you think? Should the gang just clear their schedules to keep the show moving? Or should we all just move on?
