Ashanti Blooms In ‘BraveHeart’ Cover Artwork

/ January 9, 2014

Ashanti’s fifth studio album Braveheart is set to drop soon, and the cover art finds the singer in front of a giant pink rose. Other snapshots include her sitting on cliffs with dope fashion and fierce poses. The artwork appears raw, beautiful, and fearless–the epitome of a brave heart.

Ashanti broke her silence on “106 & Park” when she talked about the meaning of BraveHeart. According to her, the album is “just about being brave. There’s a whole metaphor that I have for it, but I want to wait until I come back to talk about it.”

The LP’s first single “I Got It” featuring Rick Ross dropped late last year, and is only a preview to a list of heavy hitting collaborations. Busta Rhymes, R. Kelly, and Future are a few artists Ashanti teamed up with. Although the album has been postponed more than once, the official album release date is Feb. 18.
