Thursday night (December 1) "The X-Factor" had to make the harsh decision to eliminate two contestants. Everyones favorite Brooklyn mini MC Astro (15-years-old) got the boot along with singer Drew (14-years-old). The results came after a Wednesday night show where performances were themed after Michael Jackson songs.
Astro did a rendition of "Black or White" while Drew performed a great vocal of "Billy Jean." Unlike the temper tantrum that Astro threw a few weeks earlier, he took his dismissal from the show properly after it was revealed that he had the lowest number of votes for the week. "Hey, man, it's for the better," the MC told host Steve Jones. "The only reason I'm mad is 'cause I don't get to see my girl that lives in Cali, but I will be back. ... I love my time. I've gained a lot of fans. People got picket signs tonight. I wish y'all the best of luck." He then proceeded to hug his fellow contestants and mentor L.A. Reid.
Looks like last night was an elimination to say goodbye to the kiddies. --Krystal Holmes
