Amidst swirling rumors that Justin Bieber may be trying to shack up in Atlanta, residents of an upscale residential neighborhood in Buckhead have organized a protest against Biebs being the new kid on the block. Retiree Harold White is among those who are opposed to the move, and he shared his sentiments with CNN.
"We're concerned he'll bring the wrong type of element into a quiet, residential area," he said. "It is our position that a person with his means could certainly find a neighborhood more suited to his ‘eclectic’ lifestyle.”
White and his wife have planned a protest for Monday morning (Feb. 24) outside of a Buckhead mansion that Bieber reportedly had his eyes on. Citing his recent legal troubles and previous conflicts with neighbors, they have also created a Facebook page for the event entitled “Protest Justin Bieber Moving to Buckhead.”
“Justin Bieber's relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community,” the page states. “Some can't even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence, before. What's to say he won't do it again?”
Bieber nor his reps have confirmed the singer’s ATL move.
