VIBE caught up with Austin Rivers to discuss the New Orleans Hornets, his favorite song, and playing alongside Anthony Davis.
The former Duke star and son of Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers was the tenth overall pick in the 2012 draft. A one-year wonder in college, he led his Blue Devils squad to a no. 2 seed in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, where they were stunned by no. 15 Lehigh in the first round. Now in the NBA, the young guard shared his thoughts on finally reaching the NBA.
"First thought when I got drafted was hard work pays off and I'm excited to get this season started," said Rivers.
