The search for a Colorado woman continues after she allegedly disappeared on a private trip in Grand Canyon National Park, authorities say.
Park rangers say Kaitlin Anne Kenney, 21, was last spotted Friday night at her group's camp near the north side of the Colorado River. She was reported missing Saturday.
Helicopter and ground search teams were scouring the Tapeats and Deer Creek drainages, Surprise Valley and the river's surrounding areas all weekend, only to intensify efforts Monday.
Park spokeswoman Shannan Marcak described Kenney as 5-feet-5 inches tall, 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Kenney was last seen wearing a tan coat and tan pants, a gray shirt, multi-colored scarf, black knit cap and hiking boots.
