With another MTV Movie Awards in the books, we take a look at the winners, the losers, the exciting new trailers and more in our recap of the night’s festivities. The 2013 MTV Movie Awards was made all the more magnanimous by the outlandish comedic styling of Rebel Wilson, who not only served as the event’s hostess, but took home the prize of Breakthrough Performance as well. The Aussie comedianne roasted her compatriots, entered and exited the stage in an Iron Man mock-up suit called Iron Mangina, and ushered the night in hilarious fashion. Fans voted online for the winners in traditional and irreverent categories such as “Best Fight,” “Best Kiss,” and “Best Shirtless Performance,” which was won by Taylor Lautner. Iron Man is arguably the most outrageous superhero around, but was upstaged throughout the night by Rebel’s Iron Mangina suit. While Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) wasn’t present when Earth’s mightiest heroes won “Movie of the Year,” they did leave behind this exclusively awesome clip from the upcoming Iron Man 3.

One Direction angered comic book fans when Loki (Tom Hiddleston) shouted out band member Liam Payne during his acceptance speech for “Best Villain,” as the Norse evil mastermind plotted global domination with one of Earth’s mightiest musical acts. Anne Hathaway shouldn’t be sore because she didn’t win anything last night (she did snag an Oscar this year). Sleepwalking Humans who decided that living in Dreamland was way better than staying up to catch the exclusive first-look at The Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire clip. Don’t worry, sleepyheads, we got you covered: The night also found MTV honoring the likes of Emma Watson, Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx with special distinction awards. The Bling Ring star (Watson) received the Trailblazer Award, while Will Ferrell (and his Asian family) presented “all dollar everything” in his acceptance of the Comedic Genius Award. “For those of you sitting here tonight who don’t think I’m funny, I’ll be happy to fight you in the parking lot after the show,” said Ferrell, who is currently wrapping up Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, slated for release later this year. Lastly, Jamie Foxx thanked his family, his daughter and siblings in the audience as he accepted the Generation Award for his career in film. Props: MTV
