Avicii vs. Nicky Romero Collaboration, "I Could Be The One," Tops Beatport

Beatport, the iTunes of EDM, is always full of surprises when it comes to their homepage's Top 10 list. Currently sitting on top wearing the glowstick crown of glory is the soaring "I Could Be the One (Original Mix)." The single is a techno face-off between Dutch DJ Nicky Romero and the Swede known as Avicii, featuring vocals from Swedish singer Noonie Bao.

Avicii released the track on Dec. 29th via his Le7els record label, but the track has been played at shows under the working title "Nicktim" for about a year now. With its newfound hype on Beatport, "I Could Be the One" is poised to be another hit for Avicii, who, despite being among the Top 5 ranked DJs in the world and headling festivals, has yet to drop a full-length LP.
