Azealia Banks Begs Universal to Drop Her

Infamous for her social media rants, Azealia Banks let off yet another load of steam via Twitter this afternoon. This time aimed at her record label Universal Records, the rapstress made a very public plea to be released. The request stems from the label’s delay in releasing her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste. “My fans really need some new music,” she wrote. “I’ve been gratefully riding off of mixtape fumes for the past two years but I’m more ready than ever…..” Her series of Twitter discontent played out like this:

Ending her tweets by employing hashtags like “#lifeofahumancommodity” and “#universaldoesntcare,” Banks hopped off Twitter to enjoy hot wings sharing that he would be “Drowning my sorrows in blue cheese and ranch dressing.”
