Baby Love: Music Executive Tommy Mottola and Singer, Thalia, Welcome New Son
This past weekend, former Sony Music CEO Tommy Mottola and Mexican songstress/actress, Thalia, welcomed a new baby boy into the world.
Thalia gave birth to Matthew Alejandro Mottola on June 25 at a New York hospital. The new edition weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces and is the second child between the couple.
The ex-husband to pop princess, Mariah Carey, Tommy Mottola married Thalia in 2000, just two years after his split with Carey. Thalia gave birth to their daughter, Sabrina in 2007 and Mottola has two other children from previous relationships.
Tommy Mottola is currently the co-owner of Casablanca Records, a label in conjunction with the Universal Music Group. Thalia is working on her 11th studio album as well as taking up roles on various soap operas, television shows and movies.
