Is making baggy pants illegal even legal?

One town in Louisiana will find out. Terrebonne Parish, LA has made baggy pants illegal, saying “appearing in public view while exposing one’s skin or undergarments below the waist is contrary to safety, health, peace and good order of the parish and the general welfare.”

With baggy pants illegal, offenders will face up to $50 fines for the first offense, $100 for the second, and 16 hours of community service plus a fine for each subsequent offense.

The fashion police have made baggy pants illegal in the past, but now that actual police have made baggy pants illegal, maybe fashion will follow suit.
