President Barack Obama unveiled his 2013 budget on Monday (Feb. 13) and it's a $3.8 trillion spending plan that seeks to achieve $4 trillion in deficit reductions.
Of course, the plan was immediately attacked by Republicans, but the budget battle in general is sure to be a topic of debate for the upcoming fall elections. The Huffington Post reports that Obama would achieve $1.5 trillion of the deficit reductions in tax increases on the wealthy and by removing certain corporate tax breaks.
Obama is simply trying to rebuild the country's economy and that is something we as nation are in need of.
