Bassnectar Raises The Dead With "Hexes"

Bassnectar Raises The Dead With "Hexes"

What happens when one of the most talented dubstep producers on the planet gets asked to score a track for the "Resident Evil" videogame series?

Lorin Ashton, aka Bassnectar, give you "Hexes." Set to be released as a part of the movie's official soundtrack, Ashton's latest creation is the perfect combination extra tightly coiled synth and hard as a punch-in-the-face bass. The 'Resident Evil' series returns for another installment, and as the movie ends it will close to devastating wobbles, courtesy of the EDM's latest revolutionary rager.

In case you didn't know, the long-haired bass demigod, Bassnectar sells out stadiums and has flocks of fans aptly named "bass heads" who attend his every show. Some of his most popular reworks include remixes of The Pixies - "Where Is My Mind" and Ellie Goulding - "Lights." For nearly a decade he's continuously pushed musical boundaries and clearly established his own niche. For this latest tune, Bassnectar teams up with Deftones vocalist, Chino Moreno, to create a sound so freakishly filled with beats, that it could wake the dead.
