Beyoncé Premieres “I Was Here” Performance For World Humanitarian Day

In honor of World Humanitarian Day, Beyoncé bestows a special performance of “I Was Here.”

The video comes from an innovative partnership between the United Nations and the international star that highlights the humanitarian work of many individuals across the globe and encourages more to join. She aims to reach 1 billion people in a single day.

“One day, one message, one goal. To inspire people all over the world to do something good, no matter how big or small, for someone else,” the campaign message reads.

The performance was shot in front of a live audience at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York City and shows the singer-songwriter in a stunning white gown belting against a backdrop of worldly images.
