Jay-Z is still making his rounds for the 'Magna Carter Holy Grail' tour, making his most recent pit stop in Atlanta. The rapper took over the Peach State on Friday (Dec. 27) when he performed for a sold-out crowd at the Philips Arena.
“I’ve been looking forward to this date since they moved the tour," Hov told the ATL crowd. "We’ve been in L.A., we’ve been in Houston, but Atlanta is one of those special dates tonight.”
A host of celebrities came out to support Jay on his big night including Jermaine Dupri, Trey Songz, Timbaland, August Alsina and Bow Wow. But the most important guest: his wife Beyoncé.
The singer, who dropped a surprise visual album over two weeks ago, sat in V.I.P. while watching her hubby do his thing on stage. After a slew of female fans yelled at the stage that they loved him, the rapper responded with “Sorry ladies, my girl is here tonight,” E! News reported.
Following the show, the couple headed to an after party at Reign nightclub to celebrate. The twosome even danced to Bey’s chart-topping hit “Drunk In Love” looking exactly that.
