The BeyHive may have to curb their thirst a little while longer. Reports that Beyoncé’s fifth studio album have been delayed are false, especially since an official release date was never set in the first place, her rep says.

Earlier this week, rumors/a> flooded the ‘net that Bey scrapped more than 50 songs submitted to her for the album. Despite releasing new music in H&M and Pepsi advertisements, Mrs. Carter has yet to release a legit single as her team is said to be searching for a ‘”Single Ladies”-sized hit.

Still, the “Standing On The Sun” songstress has been touring the world over while working on her forthcoming project, which was initially rumored to drop in November after a fan allegedly overheard Bey say so at a meet-and-greet.

While the follow-up to 2011’s 4 album may or may not feature collabs from Diplo, Miguel and Ne-Yo, the R&B gentleman says that Bey’s perfectionism will delay any release until it’s 100% ready. Ne-Yo told VIBE last month, “She’s not going to put it out until it’s all the way right.” –Nina Marrissa (@NinaMarrissa)
