Beyoncé flipped the world on its axis when she dropped her surprise visual album Beyoncé on Friday at midnight (Dec. 13). Equipped with 14 tracks and 17 music videos, Beyoncé nearly converted every human being to Beyism.
Now, within only three days, King Bey has already broke an iTunes record. The LP, which will be exclusive to iTunes till the physical release on Dec. 21, has already clocked in at 617,000 units, beating out Taylor Swift's R.E.D. album sales, which sold 465,000 after being exclusively released to iTunes in its first week.
According to Billboard, the 32-year-old songstress is also poised to debut at No. 1 on the charts. Beyoncé's iTunes launch is also the second-largest digital sales week overall, following Lady Gaga's Born This Way release in 2011.
