Big Boi To Release Solo Album

/ January 23, 2014

After whispers of an OutKast album and a solo effort from both Andre 3000 and Big Boi, one has been verified as true. During a recent chat with Revolt TV, General Patton confirmed that an individual record from him is on the way.

“Anything can happen,” he said, when asked about re-uping his tour with Killa Mike. “We got a couple new jams that we recorded in the studio recently so stay tuned for that Big Boi solo record coming soon so we just staying working.”

“Stay working” is an understatement given there’s a 40+ performance schedule Sir Lucius Leftfoot is about to embark on with 3 Stacks, including headlining gigs at Coachella and Governors Ball.

“Can’t wait to get on stage with my brother 3 Stacks and you know, kill ‘em,” Daddy Fat Sax said about the reunion. “It’s a long time to still be doing music at a high caliber, and having fun doing it.”

This new LP will mark the follow-up to Big Boi’s 2012 work Dangerous Lies and Vicious Rumors.
