“Peter Piper,” from Raising Hell (1986)

Run-D.M.C. made a habit of delivering solid album intros. We already included “Hard Times” on this list and “Run’s House” from 1988’s Tougher Than Leather and even “Rock The House” from 1985’s King of Rock easily could’ve been in the mix here. But “Peter Piper”?! It got overshadowed by “It’s Tricky,” “My Adidas,” and “Walk This Way,” but it was a classic intro to start off a classic album.
