It took America four days to find those responsible for Monday's twin bombings at the Boston Marathon. The quick turnaround time on solving this heinous crime is largely due to Bostonians uniting and giving a giant middle finger to fear in the face of terrorism. Beantown's own Big Papi aka David Ortiz aka No. 34 of the Boston Red Sox resonated that sentiment in a pre-game ceremony on Saturday, April 20 at Fenway Park in honor of the victims.
"This is our fucking city, and nobody is going to dictate our freedom. Stay strong!" Big Papi told the stadium to loud cheers, after thanking both the Boston mayor and police for their work this past week. Papi's words were so inspiring they launched the trending hashtag #BostonStrong. Watch the clip below. (Three words: BAD F%$KING ASS!)
