Billy Bob Thornton's Daughter Amanda Brumfield Sentenced to 20-Years in Prison

A-list Hollywood star Billy Bob Thornton's estranged daughter, Amanda Brumfield, was sentenced to 20-years in prison

for manslaughter. She was initially convicted of the crime in May. Back in 2008, her goddaughter, 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia, died while in her care in central Florida

Originally, he was charged with murder and found not guilty. Brumfield has always maintained her innocence. Her story revolves around the infant hitting her head when she fell trying to climb out of a playpen.

"I miss Olivia just as much as anybody does," she said at Thursday's sentencing .

Amanda's best friend, Christina Stewart, read a letter written by her. "Olivia brought joy to our family from the moment she was born," Brumfield wrote. "Olivia always was, is and will be my little girl."
