Black history is much bigger than 28 days. And this is the mission Eunique Jones Gibson set out to prove with her photo book Because Of Them We Can, which celebrates 365 Black icons of past and present via photos of children dressed in their likenesses. The D.C.-born Delta stopped by VIBE to speak about the process of compiling the must-have coffee table book (buy it here!) and shares a moving story about Robin Roberts’ kid doppelgänger, who also survived a battle with cancer.
