"This season deals with the Harlem renaissance,"Boardwalk Empire actor Michael K. Williams tells VIBE about the show's new season. "Puffy embodies that."
Renaissance man Diddy hosted an ultra-exclusive 1920s-themed party at Los Angeles' Carondelet House this weekend where he screened the first episode of Boardwalk Empire's fourth season. In addition to cast members like Williams, Margot Bingham and Melody Thornton, other guests included Russell Simmons, Keke Palmer, Los Angeles Clipper Matt Barnes, Ray J, Niecy Nash and Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Brandi Glanville.
The revelers all dressed up in sequin dresses and flapper-inspired gowns. Men dolled up in suspenders and vests. Diddy brought along his sons Justin Dior Combs and Christian Casey Combs, who helped fix up his bow tie on the red carpet. Inside, R&B crooner Trevor Wesley performed songs on a vintage piano as guests sipped champagne and Ciroc out of Mason jars. It was a welcomed blast to the past.
Season Four of Boardwalk Empire premieres tonight on HBO at 9PM ET/PT.
