The Appearance: “Guess Hoe’s Coming to Dinner?” (Season 1, Episode 3)

The Reason It Worked: Because Katt already knew how to play the part. During this episode, Granddad dropped mad dough on a girl named “Cristal” before getting confronted by her pimp, who he repeatedly refers to as “Slickback,” instead of A Pimp Named Slickback. “You say the whole thing,” Katt at him at one point. “Like A Tribe Called Quest!” Ha! Pimpin’ ain’t easy.

The Celebrity: Snoop Dogg as Macktastic

The Appearance: “The Story of Thugnificent” (Season 2, Episode 20)

The Reason It Worked: Because Snoop Dogg can rap. As part of rapper Thugnificent’s Lethal Injection crew, Macktastic, Flonominal (voiced by Busta Rhymes) and Nate Dogg team up to pen the diss song, “Eff Granddad,” after Granddad files a complaint against them for partying too loud. It’s not exactly “Ether, Part 2,” but it does the trick.
